My Top 5 Tearjerkers

After reading Daisy's lovely blog about her top 5 tearjerkers which by the way were great choices, i got inspired to fill you guys in on my top 5 tearjerkers.

I'm a bit of a tough girl on the outside, I tend to act like nothing ever hurts me, but truth be told i am very sentimental so without any further a dues, here are my top 5 choices.

1. Marley & Me

Oh my, where should i begin with this film? I watched this film when it came out in DVD because of all the reviews i got from friends & family. I thought to myself do i really want to sit in a movie theatres and ball my eyes out? Wow! when i say I was totally taken by how cute and innocent the doggy looked. I've never sobbed and hyperventilated over a movie ever and this is why this movie holds a spot at #1 for the biggest tearjerker! perhaps the reason that i have a doggy made twice as emotional.

2. Gran Turino

Loved this film although it made me cry and laugh (what a perfect combo, huh?). This film caught me by surprise, you wouldn't think it was a tearjerker by the trailer but when i sat in the movie theaters and watched it you come to realize the meaning behind it and how people can change despite any negatives impact in their past. I have to give tons of credit to Clint Eastwood for the magnificent part he played in the movie and for all the racial slurs he managed to pull.

3. P.S. I love you

THIS IS AN AMAZING FILM! I loved this film a lot despite the fact that i cried my eyes out watching it. It's one of those films that you can watch over and over again without it getting boring or old. In many instances a lot of girls can relate to Holly's story about loosing a loved one. It's quite shocking how one day you can have your life sorted out and the next it could crumble.

4. A Walk to Remember

Such a sad story, people say that life shouldn't be taken for granted and it's definitely true. Mandy Moore portrays a character with terminal leukemia that finds love in the school's troublemaker and together go on a journey to please each other and make the best of time. This story shows the true meaning of love and the importance of living life to the max.

5. La Vita e Bella (Life is Beautiful)

This film is about a family that get broken up during the holocaust. I first watched this film in my Italian class in Italian of course. Although i wasn't able to understand everything because it was my 2nd year of Italian but i still remember balling my eyes out. The abuse these people had to go through was sadistic and un-called for but at the end of the movie when the American Soldiers liberated what was left of people portrays a happy ending. IT'S A MUST SEE, IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY!

The Notebook
I'm pretty sure you all know why this movie is a tearjerker. There is no need for me to yap about it because it's definitely an awesome love story.

Mon Petit Haul :)

This weekend I've had the opportunity to treat myself to a few goodies that I've been obsessing over for quite some time now. First, i got a cream blush from MAC (of course!) in LadyBlush.

This blush could be worn in multiple ways, you can wear it as a primer prior to applying blush or you can wear it solo. It's a peachy pink color that gives your cheeks the perfect healthy looking flush. The only down side to this is that it's a bit sticky before application but once on the skin the stickiness goes away.
Price: $19.50 (tax included)

Second, The Bf got me an Estee Lauder perfume in Bronze Goddess.

This perfume is limited edition launch that comes out every summer as part of their summer collection. It smells gorgeous and it reminds me of being at the beach which is a plus because the weather here in the states has been horrendous for the past month. This perfume honestly gets me in a great mood! I think it's a must summer fragrance in my opinion anyways and I am not just saying this so people could go out an purchase it rather because I'm extremely picky with fragrances, most get me sick, Hence, Juicy Couture or CK Euphoria so when i find a good fragrance that suits my likes I always recommend. One Spritz of this does the job but I like to spray myself more than once, it's a habit!
Price: $49.00

Third and Final, MAC Style Warrior's Lustre Drops in Sun Rush
I stopped by MAC and had to get these drops because for one i heard a lot of good reviews and simply because i wanted to try it ;) These drops are pretty cool and versatile (I'll do a separate review on this product). I wasn't really intrigued by anything else in this collection which is why I only got one item from it. I must say the exterior package is cute and wild.

In and Out take 3

It's Wednesday about 1:38 am and for some reason I always find myself writing these posts on this particular day of the week (totally unplanned)...

-In(s) -
- Bathing suits- purchased two from Victoria Secret and i am in LOVE-although i haven't achieved that slamming bikini body.
-Green Tea- either Lipton or Starbucks doesn't matter.
-wearing my hair down- the easiest way for me to wear my hair is in a bun since it's so curly but lately i've been giving my hair a bit more of attention and i quite like the results.
-Firming Lotion- Jergens and Nivea have really good ones
-Victoria Secret Body Spray/Mist- love love love love--i have gotten so many compliments on how nice it smells.
-Nivea Cellulite gel- smells nice and its helping

-Philosophy's Hope in a Bottle moisturizer- I've been noticing that my face has been an oily mess after applying this product. It works wonders in the winter but i think i might switch to a gel formula for the summer (or perhaps it's the weather?).
-Driving with an expired license-- :/
-FAKE FRIENDS- eliminated a couple from my life!
-MAC- Studio Sculpt foundation (i even forgot the name)- wore it today and it oxidized orange/red on my skin not a nice thing to notice specially after you're in your car driving somewhere.

That's it for now folks! I know it's not strictly make-up related but these are the things that are currently in the IN(s) and OUT(s) in my life... WHAT ARE YOUR IN AND OUTS?
