Yves Saint Laurent 'Volume Effet Faux Cils' Luxurious Mascara

Yves Saint Laurent 'Volume Effet Faux Cils' Luxurious Mascara

I'm very picky about the mascaras I purchase because I have really sensitive eyes and everything irritates them or makes my eyelashes fall out :( I've probably tried about 6 to 10 brands of high end and drugstore mascaras but nothing compares to this ONE. The packaging is very chic and the wand works its magic. I was very skeptical about purchasing the Yves Saint Laurent at first mainly because

1) it's mascara
2) the price

Needless to say,  I fell into peer pressure and ended up swiping my debit card (shame on me).

Results: I've applied it for the past two days and have gotten compliments on my eyelashes--some have even asked me if i was wearing falsies!
I don't regret purchasing the mascara and let's hope this particular brand does not turn into an addiction due to the fact that is quite pricey!

The cost for the mascara was $28.50 USD

I strongly RECOMMEND IT whole heartedly and promise you won't regret purchasing it.  IF YOU DON'T MIND THE PRICE and love your eyelashes to be the main focus like moi head over to your nearest Sephora or any department store which sells high end brands and swipe that plastic or hand over the coins to the associate.
Mascaras I have used:
-Benefit BADgal Lash Mascara (+)
-DiorShow Mascara--The perfume irritates my eyes (-)
-MAC Fiber Rich Lash Mascara--makes my eyelashes brittle and they constantly fall out (-)
-MAC Plush Lash--makes my eyelashes brittle and they constantly fall out (-)
-L'oreal Telescopic (+)
-Maybelline Great Lash Mascara (-) great effects but they test on animals
-Maybelline Intense XXL Volume + Length (-) great effects but they test on animals
-Maybelline Colossal (-) great effects but they test on animals

In and Outs -Take 2-

I was supposed to post this blog last Wednesday but I got a tad LAZY and didn't finish it until today. So here it goes:

Hello Kitty's Mimmy Lip gloss: for the past week and a half I've been wearing this lip gloss, I don't know why but i like how it makes my lips look, feel, and it's long lasting. For some reason i feel like this gloss plumps my lips as well.

Mineral Skin Finish (natural): instead of wasting my time in the morning with my foundation routine, i have been only applying this MSF and some blush and I'm all ready to go. It doesn't make my face look powdery and it definitely covers the redness in my face (+).

Waves: Gee i have super curly hair and it's extremely annoying to maintain, so lately what I've been doing is after i wash my hair i squeeze all the excess water out and then braid it or sometimes part my hair into 4 equal parts and then create 4 buns and let it sit over night.

Spanish Soap Operas- I've been deprived of watching TV lately because of school overload but now that I am on spring break I've caught up to all of my episodes...OH THANK YOU DVR!

Liquid Foundation- Gee why can't i find an awesome liquid foundation to cover these imperfections?????

Hair Loss- I am not quite sure if hair loss is hereditary but my hair has been falling out and i don't know what to do or try!!!! (could it be because my hair is so long?? i would say 23"-24" long)

Oily Hair: YES! I know it's gross but It's a recent problem i have developed...For instance, I could go and get my hair blown out on a Friday and I could feel it getting oily the following day (Saturday).

Better late than Never

So a while back I typed up my wish list for HK and never updated my blog about my purchases.

So here is what i got:

-Medium Make up bag (which I keep in my purse)
-Pink Fish (tinted lip conditioner)
-Pop-ster (tinted lip conditioner)
-Mimmy (lipgloss)
-Cute-ster (lipstick)
-Fun and Games (blush)
-Plush lash Mascara

I would have gotten more stuff but some of the products disappointed me and to be quite honest i wasnt really impressed by the color selections.

In and Outs -take 1-

So I've totally have taken this idea from Lollipop26 and Allthatglitters21. I think these short and straight to the point blogs are fun to read and you somewhat get an idea of what's in. Soooo here is mine:

•TWITTER» I find this branch of social networking to be super entertaining. Having actual celebrities such as P.Diddy, John Mayer, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and Shaq tweet is a plus (I was skeptical at first about the celebrities... As I know from experience that most of the time they hire people to run their page, hence I was one of them).

•Fitness» truth of the matter is that I haven't worn a bikini in 3-4 years and I truly want to break that chain. Summer is a couple months away and I need to shed the extra pounds I've put on during the hibernation season.

•Eyebrows» I've never had perfect eyebrows and secretly envied most celebrities for having such perfect eyebrows--shape,length, thickness, and arch. So I found this new place at nordtroms by me with an anastasia eyebrow studio and ever since I started going there my eyebrows have improved drastically (maybe ill post a before and after picture)

•Constant change of tempeture» comeee onnn I'm seriously tired of getting teased. I would love to put my winter clothes away pull out some nice sandals, skirts, shorts, tank tops, dresses.

•Facebbok- sorrryyyyy but twitter is slowly winning my heart. I once had myspace and deleted it for facebook and now I have a feeling I'm going to delete facebook for twitter.

•BlackBerries» I've literally have been through about 4 blackberries in a matter of 6 months--NOT GOOD! They're really fun to have but I'm ready for an upgrade.
